Summary
What if children's imaginary friends are actually relatives who have passed? When baby Eli is born, only he can see his grandparents. As he gets older, that secret bond gets stronger—perhaps this is where the expression of talent skipping a generation comes from. As Eli's, and later Gertie's, parents struggle with grief, a stolen invention, and a marriage stretched to breaking, they learn: the harder you grip, the faster it goes. Learning to let go allows them to discover the greatest gift given to us all—the present. A warm, funny, yet melancholy story about the impossible math of love growing while time runs out.
“It Goes So Fast is not just a film; it is an act of spiritual architecture.”
— Federico del Buey, Film Director
